It seems anyone interested in SEO is eagerly awaiting the next Google Page Rank Update

PageRank is a link analysis algorithm, named after Larry Page and used by the Google web search engine, that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of ahyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of “measuring” its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. The numerical weight that it assigns to any given element E is referred to as the PageRank of E and denoted by (wikipedia 1)

When would Next Google Pagerank Update for 2013 ??

Next Update : Nobody knows when the next Google Pagerank update will happen, but it is expected in June or July of 2013.

But the – Probable Schedule – For Next Google Pagerank Update 2013 is :

1st Update :- 4th Feb 2013.(confirmed)

2nd Update :- June 27 to July 7.

3rd Update :- September 29 to 4 October.

4th Update :- 24 December to 29 December.

Last pagerank update 2012-2013 : Pagerank update in 2013

I`m starting to become impatient now waiting for the next Google pagerank update, I have many new sites that are still waiting for the pagerank update. There`s so many savvy web users now that check Google PR as a trust indication of the website.

I have heard rumors floating around on various websites that the update will be due in early August. But they are just rumors.

I have a deja-vu feeling. Last month when we all waited for the update and we realized it ain't going to happen, similar rumors appeared saying that the update will be due in Early July.

I am really upset to see Google is delaying us for so long

It would be nice to see PR update, but still - it's not as important as Trust Rank. So I really don't wait for the next update of PR (it's more "public relation" factor now, than "rank" of the page).

I think that this year will be only 2 PR updates, one in february 2013 and another one in september 2013. I am not waiting anymore.

I agree. Giggly Google is preoccupied with Penguin and Panda updates - especially with Bing breathing down their neck.

I have Updated My PR with domain name redirection ...
a few days ago So I am on the Happier side :D
Initially My PR was 0 now 1 without any PR Update :)

PR is more about Public Relations and PageRank. Build it, and they will come. Develop authority, build and constantly update content, link build/share, and don't cheat. Do that - especially in a niche you enjoy (for example, as a hobby or career) - and they will find and come to you regardless of PageRank. I turned a PR 3 site into a big money maker just doing that. Trying to cut corners by focusing on PR? Doomed to fail - especially when PR updates don't roll out as expected :)

Hmm, if you enter Website as https, URL hyperlinked to name is broken. For example, https://www.hoodpals.com becomes http://https//www.hoodpals.com/. Note to webmaster / site admin.

Still nothing... I know google doesn't employ PR as a key metric like it used to but it is still a helpful metric for us to understand how our sites are being judged by google. Divorcing us from that information makes it hard to color in the lines to improve our sites.

There are so many tools can check google pagerank, like the one i alway used:http://w3cspy.com, it is free and fast. and it is not only can check PR, but also can check alexa rank, google index,yahoo index, yahoo inlinks and so on.

if pagerank doesnt roll out between september 29 and next month then it's bye bye to pagerank update, i'm already missing google keyword tool, who knows what they'll call the new version of pagerank :)

I think Google should KEEP PR, but they should only count back links from sites that get over 20,000 hits every month. That would really cut down on the unnatural spam links that are unnaturally obtained or paid for. Google should see this comment and take note. If they also combined time spent on sites for credible links that would also be great!

So finally the wait of the webmasters is over. Looked like Google have rolled out Page rank update for all sites today on 6 December 2013. The last PR update happened on February 2013, but after that no update rolled out. -
