If you’ve ever tried out tools like this in the past, you’ve probably noticed that they can take hours and hours until you actually learn how to get the most out of them but that’s what makes SEO PowerSuite different – it’s simple to use.
When you download SEO PowerSuite you get 4 different programs (if you choose to install all of them, you don’t have to get all 4 if you don’t want to). These are: Rank Tracker, Website Auditor, LinkAssistant and SEO SpyGlass. I think this is why it’s so easy to use, rather than having everything all over the place in one program, they’ve split things into 4 different programs. I’m going to go through each one of these programs so that you know what to expect from SEO PowerSuite:
Rank Tracker Rank tracker is the first program that I went to, mainly because one of the sites that I’m working on jumped up a few positions this morning. As you guess, Rank Tracker is used to track your rankings! It does much more than just this though. Using rank tracker you can also see how many searches each search term has, how many visits you can expect to get from the position that your site is currently at, what the competition is like for search terms, compare multiple sites to see which site is performing better (perfect to keep an eye on your competitors, see the image below) and much more.
website auditor
This program checks loads of things such as whether there are any errors in the code of your site, if there are any broken links, if any titles are over 65 characters long (not good for SEO), if all pages have a meta description and so on. You can see a small part of the report that I got below, there’s quite a lot in it so it’s hard to fit all the info in a screenshot. Apparently there are much more features in the paid version of the Website Auditor program too!
